What life is like for the head of a Fortune 500 company

It’s funny how some articles always say that the luxurious life of rich people is often highlighted, while their hard work is ignored. We’ve seen a whole lot more writings on how self-made billionaires got rich, how they coped with all the failures and defeats and overcame all those sleepless nights, to become icons of industry.

It’s clear – they work hard. But they also play hard.

Heads of Fortune 500 companies live the life many people could only dream of, and deservedly so. Probably for regular folks like you and me, one of the biggest comforts these business leaders experience is simply having all their bills taken care of. And that’s only the tip of the iceberg.

They have houses in gated communities where their kids can play in safety, houses with dream views of either the ocean, a pristine lake, or a magnificent mountain range. And most of the time, they have more than one home, with other reserved for vacation. As for holidays, heads of Fortune 500 companies spend weeks in the most beautiful places in the world.

While people all over the world are jealous of what these industry leaders do during their free time, very few are willing to put in the work and sacrifice needed to reach these goals.
